About the event
Venus’s retrograde is the rarest of all the planets, happening roughly every 19 months for about 40 days. In that time, Venus goes from being an evening star in the night sky, to disappearing completely from the sky for a time, to reemerging again as a morning star. Ancient peoples were fascinated by this journey of Venus, and it is one of the oldest tracked cycles using astrology. Myths and stories were created the world over to explain the disappearance and reemergence of Venus, and typically these myths involved an underworld journey that resulted in transformation.
How can we as modern humans take these mythic themes and apply them to our own lives during a Venus retrograde? How can we engage with the Venus retrograde energies to experience a transformation of our own Venus themes in our lives?
